9 months old male child treated elsewhere as a case of WALRI ( Wheeze associated lower respiratory tract infection)for more than 3 months had a history of ingestion of foreign body.serial X-rays taken that time showed a safe passing of suspected foreign body from the stomach. At our centre CT chest including neck was advised and taken which revealed some foreign body still lying in the pharynx causing recurrent respiratory infection and respiratory distress to this 9 month old child. Under anaesthesia endoscopic retreival of foreign body- performed. A LOCK OF 3.5 cm x 2.5cm was removed and the child was releived of this 3 month sold unexplained misery.
