Why is Eye Donation Important?
Millions of people in India are affected by corneal blindness, and many of them are young children and working adults. The only cure for this type of blindness is a corneal transplant, which requires donated eyes. Unfortunately, the number of donated corneas is far below the demand. Who Can Donate Eyes?
Almost everyone can donate their eyes! You can be an eye donor if you:

✔️ Wear spectacles or have poor eyesight

❌ Patients with blood cancers like leukemia or active eye tumors
When Should Eyes Be Donated?
⏳ Within 6 hours of death – The sooner the eyes are collected, the better the chances of a successful transplant.
How to Pledge Your Eyes?
Becoming an eye donor is simple:
1️.Pledge Now – Register your wish to donate your eyes with an eye bank or hospital.
2️.Inform Your Family – Their consent is required after your passing, so ensure they are aware of your decision.
3️.Call for Retrieval – If a loved one passes away, immediately contact an eye bank or hospital to arrange for donation.
